Welcome to the Stamping with Friends Retiring In Colors blog hop. Not only am I featuring 2020-2022 In Colors but I’m using a new set Uniquely Artistic which is in the upcoming 2022-2023 Annual Catalog.
Today’s Project – Uniquely Artistic
The Uniquely Artistic stamp set is a two-step stamp with a solid and detailed stamp for each image. I only used the detailed image since I was going for a clean and simple look. My goal was to make a set of cards with a box to use as a hostess gift. Now that the weather is getting better, there’s sure to be a lot of patio parties!
Each card is the same except for the color. First, stamp the flower, the long leaf image, and the sentiment on a Basic White scrap. The sentiment comes from the Hello Beautiful stamp set which is carrying over to the new catalog. Then cut them out using the Hexagon dies in the Beautiful Shapes dies. If you like the stamp set and dies, buy them now at the bundle price. Plus, there is a new stamp set, Framed Occassions which also coordinates with the dies.
Cutting Guide
- Thick Basic White – 8 1/2′ X 5.5″. Score at 4 1/4″, fold and crease with a bone folder.
- Basic White – 5 1/8″ X 3 7/8″ – Cut two.
- In Color – 5 1/4″ X 4″ – Cut two.
Assembly
- Attach the Basic White panels to the In Color panels.
- Attach one set to the inside of the card.
- Attach the other set to the card front.
- Attach the hexagons to the card front using dimensionals.
- Embellish with 2020-2022 In Color Square Gems
Make the INside Pretty – Don’t forget the envelope
As you can see, the envelopes and insides are identical. They all use the grass-like stamp with the flower image from the Uniquely Artistic stamp set.
Make A pretty Container
The acetate boxes are retiring and I am so sad. One of my favorite hostess gifts is a set of cards in a decorated box! I may have ordered a few extras just to have on hand! As you can see, I stamped the flowers and the leaves in the colors, cut them with the Hexagon dies, and embellished them with 2020-2022 In Color Square Gems.
