He's All That for Stamping With Friends

Stamping with Friends is featuring masculine cards today, just in time for Father’s Day. I’m using the He’s All That stamp set and the He’s the Man Designer Series Paper. This paper and the die cuts make putting together a masculine card a breeze.

Today’s Project

"He's All That Flat, Candi Suriano, Stampin' Up!"

Growing up in Detroit, I come from a car family My grandfather and uncle both designed cars, and my uncle designed cars and collected and rebuilt old cars. So this paper and the die cuts are perfect for a birthday card.

Just look at these die cuts. They are amazingly easy to use especially in conjunction with the He’s the Man DSP.

For my card, I chose the DSP with the cars and the car and ‘You’re a Classic’ die cuts. I started the card with a base of Early Espresso which was topped with a layer of DSP. For the focal image, I used a piece of Very Vanilla cardstock matted on Early Espresso and attached it to the card using dimensionals. Then, I attached the die cuts with dimensionals and finished off the card with two Rustic Metallic Adhesive Backed Dots.

I picked my color palette from the DSP. I love these cards together and they are perfect for a masculine card, They would also make a good ‘earthy’ card like a garden in winter.

This stamp from the He’s All That stamp set is perfect for this card. And that’s one of my favorite things about Stampin’ Up! products. They coordinate beautifully. Not just in the colors, but in the fonts, sentiments, and accessories. It makes card making so easy and fun!

For the envelope, I glued another die-cut on the envelope flap.
