Today is Share It Sunday at Crafty Collaborations where demonstrators from all over the world share a project they’ve been working on. My project today is my alternatives made with the June 2020 Paper Pumpkin kit. I was going to post them for the Paper Pumpkin blog hop on Friday, but life happened and the post didn’t get done. So, here we are.
Today’s Project – June 2022 Paper Pumpkin Alternatives
I really loved this kit! So many fun ideas. The color combo is fresh and the elements remind me of a summer farmer’s market or the French countryside.

I love the envelope liner so much that I made the card layer and the cracker box out of them. The cracker die is so awesome and is perfect for some Hershey kisses. I can see it using it has Chrismas with some pretty paper. Or, maybe as Valentine’s Day treats. And, it was so easy to use. It just snaps together. I used a vase from the Perfect Plants dies and the flowers are from the Garden Birdhouses stamp set.

For this alternative, I used the wagon again. I added flowers from the retiring Flowering Rainboots Bundle. The butterflies are from the Brilliant Wings dies. I also stamped the bag. I think I should have ironed it before stamping. I’ll admit, I’m not crazy about how the bag turned out. Cute idea though. And I’ve seen some with great stamped images.
June 2022 Paper Pumpkin Alternative #3
I loved the idea of a picnic with this set. I cut out the picnic cloth from the original base. Then I added elements from the kit. But, I thought it needed some wine. So I used the Vintage Bottle Bundle stamped with Rich Razzleberry.

Here’s another variation of the picnic scene. I love the vellum that looks like a bag!

I think this is my favorite. I used Soft Suede on the inside of the Brick & Mortar Embossing Folder and then placed a piece of Soft Succulent cardstock in it. The flower pot is from the retiring Flowering Rainboots and the paper is from an envelope liner. I colored the Brush Brass Butterflies with blends to get different colored butterflies.

I really loved the background for the cart in the kit. So, I wanted to make something different using it. So I cut up one of berry basked cards and glued them to this front. I really like how this came out.
June 2022 Paper Pumpkin Alternative #7
For this card, I made a basket from Soft Suede paper and the Gingham embossing folder. The DSP is the liner from an envelope. I cut up one of the berry card bases for the flowers and peaches. The envelope has a stamped berry that was colored with Sweet Sorbet blends.

My favorite stamp from this kit is the big, bold Hello. First I stamped the Night of Navy flowers off before stamping them on the card front. I used the leftovers from cutting the tablecloth out of a card front. After gluing them to the front, I surrounded them with 3 twine strands. 3 Brushed Brass Butterflies finished off the card.
June 2022 Paper Pumpin Alternative #9
This card is very similar to the previous card because the DSP & twine are the same. I stamped the three Hellos from the kit on the back of a different card and layered it onto a Night of Navy card base. The envelope & inside have the same treatment. Elements from the kit were glued to them.
I hope you enjoyed my alternatives. Now it’s time to see what inspiration the others have for you. So, grab a beverage, sit back, and enjoy the hop.
