My neighbors recently had a baby girl. I found the cutest little outfit for her. As I was looking at gift bags, I saw one with pink elephants on it. Knowing I had the Little Elephant stamp set, I thought it would make a perfect card! And I think it looks pretty good.
Isn’t it cute? And so easy to make! Let’s get to the directions.
Little Elephant
Instructions
- Fold a 5 1/2" X 8 1/2" piece of Thick Whisper White cardstock in half. Use a bone folder to get a crisp crease.
- Layer a 5 /16" X 3 13/16" piece of Calypso Coral Cardstock on a piece of 5/14" X 4" Terracotta Tile cardstock.
- Attach the Terracotta Tile cardstock layer to the card front.
- Using the Stitched So Sweetly dies (My new favorite dies!), cut a Whisper White layer and a Terracotta Tile layer.
- Stamp the two elephants on the Whisper White layer using Calypso Coral ink.
- Attach the Whisper White layer to the Terracotta Tile layer.
- Attach the Terracotta Tile layer to card front.
- Stamp the sentiment on a scrap piece of Whisper White card stock using Terracotta Tile ink.
- Cut out the sentiment using the Layering Circles dies.
- Cut out a Terracotta Tile mat for the sentiment using the Layering Circles dies.
- Attach the sentiment to the mat.
- Attach the mat to the card front using Dimensionals.
- Color 3 Heart Epoxy droplets using the blunt tip of the Dark Calypso Blends Marker Tip: Using the blunt end won't damage your marker. Using the brush end will! The blunt tip is the tip with the thin line below it.
- Attach the hearts using a mini glue dot to make sure they don't come off.
Don’t Forget the Envelope
I stamped the small elephant image on the envelope front using Calypso Coral ink.
