Crafty Collaborations April Challenge blog hop is a card sketch. I love sketch challenges because they give me some structure to work with but still push me outside of my comfort zone. And I love them for blog hops even more, since it allows me to see what others did with the sketch. Here's the sketch for this challenge. Today's Project And, here's the card I created with it. I used the Pansy Patch stamp set and Pansy dies from the upcoming 2021-2022 Annual Catalog. I really love ... Read More about Pansy Patch for Crafty Challenge Blog Hop

Hello with Hey Chick
My grandson loves chickens. He sees chickens everywhere and even chases the cat pretending he's a chicken. So I made him this Hello with Hey Chick card. Today's Project This card uses a lot of die-cuts. In fact, it's mostly die-cuts with minimal stamping. You'll also notice it's a slimline card. Instead of the usual 5 1/2" X 4 1/4" card, it's 8 1/2" X 7" and fits in a business-sized envelope. I love slimline cards for creating 'scenes'. The extra length gives you more space to play ... Another Hey Chick and Hey Birthday Chick Card
For this card I combined Hey Chick and Hey Birthday Chick to get 3 big chickens! Take a look. Today's Project To create the frames for the chicks, use two layering circles dies nested in each other. The bigger the difference, the bigger the frame! I also used a piece of Basic White cardstock to attach to the DSP to give it some heft before cutting the windows in the DSP. Use the smallest of the two to cut the holes in the designer series paper (DSP). Once the holes are cut, layer it ... Read More about Another Hey Chick and Hey Birthday Chick Card
Hey Birthday Chick
I love this new Hey Birthday Chick set. Such fun images.! The other day, I posted about this new set here https://www.stampwithcandi.com/hey-chick-is-back-yay. I love the dots in the background from the Playing with Patterns Designer Series Paper. It's such a fun background on a fun card. Can you see how the whole focal ...
