These Party Puffins are soooo cute and even cuter with a fun fold!
Today’s Project
In my previous post, I showed an elegant card using a fun fold and the Art Gallery stamp set.. Today, I’m showcasing the same fun fold but with a different look because the stamp set and designer series paper are very different. Take a look.
I just love how bright and cheery this is! It started with Thick Basic White base and then the Pattern Party Designer Series Paper was layered on to Bermuda Bay mats and attached to the card base.
The Party Puffin on the belly band was stamped using Momento Tuxedo Black ink and then colored with Bermuda Bay, Flirty Flamingo, Poppy Parade, Pumpkin Pie, and Daffodil Delight blends.
Make the Inside Pretty
Because of the fun fold, this card doesn’t have the usual front and back. So, I’ll show you the front and back before folding. The picture below shows how the inside looks.
The picture above shows most of the outside of the card, although the fold hides the candles.
Don’t Forget the envelope
As you can see in the first picture, I stamped the candles on the front of the envelope and colored them with the blends. TIP: The blends can bleed through to the other side of the envelope. To fix this, slip a piece of scrap paper into the envelope before coloring.
Today’s Color Palette
I love these colors together. They are so bright and cheerful!
