Stampin’ Up! Coordination Release is the second SAB offering feature dies and paper that coordinate with new Stampin’ Up! products. Although, it doesn’t contain any free products, its dies and paper coordinate with items from both the Sale-A-Bration Release 1 catalog and the January-June Mini Catalog. Let’s break it down!
Birthday Dies
Oh, my word do I love these dies! I love the Happy Birthday to You stamp set from SAB, but I’m not big on fussy cutting! And, I’m just not good at it. But, that cake was meant to be cut out and popped up with some Dimensionals. So I was super excited to see the matching dies. Take a look.
And, here’s the stamp set they coordinate with.
I love that you can cut out the flowers without the cake. And, I love that you can create a more substantial stand for the cake using the dies. I have a couple of cute cards made with this set that I’ll be sharing in the coming week.
Lady Bug Dies
I wasn’t sold on this Ladybug stamp set when I first saw it. In fact, it wasn’t on my wish list. But then, so many talented people posted such amazing samples, that I started to reconsider. And, then, Stampin’ Up! released the matching dies and BOOM, it went on my very next order. Take a look!
Ok, just looking at the dies is a little underwhelming. So, let’s look at the stamp set.
And, if looking at the stamp set isn’t enough to get you to buy, check out these samples. They look so cute popped up! I am such a fan of dies because they add so much dimension to projects. And, yes, a die-cutting machine is a big purchase, but if you really like to craft, then you’ll use it so much that it’s worth it! Anyway, let’s look at those samples. Aren’t they cute? And, can’t you think of a dozen ways to use them? I know I can.
sENDING fLOWERS dIES
These dies are made to coordinate with the Sending You Thoughts stamp set from Sale-A-Bration. Let’s look at them both and see how they work.
Sending Flowers Dies Sending You Thoughts Cling Stamps
You can see that the dies can cut out many of the sentiments and that they can fit perfectly across the top part of the die. Plus the small dies can cut out the flowers in a different color. Here’s an example of what you can do with these dies. The picture is a little fuzzy, but you can see what I’m talking about. The congratulations sentiment fits perfectly into the banner dies. And the extra flower cutouts make the flowers pop. Plus, who doesn’t love a shaker card full of flowers?
Nature’s Thoughts Dies
These dies coordinate with the Positive Thoughts Cling Stamp Set from the January-June Mini Catalog. If you like nature-based cards, this set is for you. Take a look.
Positive Thoughts Cling Stamp Set Nature’s Thoughts Dies
These are beautifully detailed stamps and the dies fit them perfectly. Plus, there is a frame that lets you cut out a frame to add dimension and depth to your creation. I can’t wait to find the time to play with these beautiful stamps and dies!
Special Days Dies
These dies coordinate with the Special Someone Stamp Set from the January-June Mini Catalog. As soon as I saw that stamp set, I knew my grandson would love it! He’s very into animals. So, of course, I had to buy it to make him a card or two. He loves to get mail from “Grandma Candi”. Never too young to get them interested in crafting! Let’s take a look at these.
Special Someone Photopolymer Stamp Set Special Days Dies
These stamps are two-step stamps, meaning you stamp two images to get the final image. This allows you to get great shading without having to color. I love that the dies contain multiple flower, heart, and balloon dies so that you can cut two for each pass through the die-cutting machine. I love the little grass element on the dies. I’ll be using that a lot as I love to make flower cards! Here’s a sample made with these stamps and dies.
Pleased As Punch Designer Series Paper
I saved the best for last! I love this paper! Not only is it gorgeous by itself, but it also coordinates with four punches – Small Bloom Punch, Heart Punch Pack, Tulip Builder Punch, and Umbrella Builder Punch. So many ideas racing through my mind every time I look at this paper. I just love it! Take a look.
