Crafty Collaborations is an international group of demonstrators who love to challenge each other to make card using beautiful Stampin’ Up! products. This month’s challenge blog hop is highlighting the 2021-2023 Stampin’ Up! In Colors. Each year Stampin’ Up introduces 5 new colors that will be active for the next two years. This helps keep our color selection fresh. Most years I like some of the colors but this year’s colors are so spectacular that I love them all!
Not only do they look good individually, but they are also great together! Soft Succulent and Evening Evergreen are a perfect duo! And Fresh Freesia pairs well with both Polished Pink and Pale Papaya. They also work well with other Stampin’ Up! colors. You can see examples here and here and here. Yes, I do love these colors!
Today’s Projects
I wanted to showcase all of the different elements available for each color – there’s cardstock, ink, blends (alcohol markers), jewels, ribbon, and shimmery vellum! Shimmery Vellum makes these cards. They were embossed with the Painted Texture embossing folder. The camera can’t capture how much they shimmer! I attached the vellum to the card front using Stampin’ Seal. Usually, it shows through as it does on the Evening Evergreen sample on the left. It’s funny that the camera picked that up because you can’t see it on the card! Next time I’ll use strategically placed glue dots to adhere the Soft Succulent Shimmery Vellum. to cardstock.
Soft Succulent
For this one and the Evening Evergreen card below, I switched the vellum, using Evening Evergreen on this card and Soft Succulent on the Evening Evergreen.
Evening Evergreen
I love the open weave ribbon. So easy to work with! Between the shimmery vellum and the sparkly jewels, this card is bright and cheery despite the dark colors.
Fresh Freesia
The stamped images and their frames are from the Color & Contour Bundle, another of my favorites. The cards just seem to make them selves!
Pale Papaya
This photo doesn’t do this card justice. The flowers on this card really pop in person!
Polished Pink
Make the inside pretty
As you can see, the inside panel was stamped with the same flower as used on the front and envelope.
Don’t Forget the Envelope
Here’s another look at each color. You can see that I stamped the flower on the envelope front.
You can find the supplies for these cards at the end of this post.
