Tea Boutique Pillow Gifts

Today’s post is for Share It Sunday – the monthly blog hop where the stampers from Crafty Collaborations post a project that they’re working on. I love this hop because I get so much inspiration from all the participants. I’m sharing a cute hinged box using the Tea Boutique DSP and the Cup of Tea Bundle.

Today’s Project – Tea Boutique

I spent a weekend retreat with 11 other Stampin’ Up! demonstrators. We typically bring pillow gifts for each other – some small project to share. I found this cute hinged box here. Sally has a great video tutorial on assembling these. And because of the double-wall construction and insert, you don’t have to use Tear n Tape to make them. Just regular old snail make the work.

As you can see from the image, I used a variety of papers, colors, and teacup images. It was so much fun to make these!

Each box had a variety of teas and a few Ghiradelli Chocolates. I was also going to put a few cookies in them but couldn’t find anything suitable.

This image shows the side view of the box. The hinge is actually pretty easy. You have a piece of paper that is tucked behind the Basic White liner and under one of the flaps on the top. So convenient and cute.

Today’s Color Palette

Today’s color palette comes straight from the Tea Boutique Designer Series Paper so was pretty easy to pull together. I’m glad that the In Colors come in a pack of 12″ X 12″ with two sheets of each since the box needs one piece of 12″ X 12″ paper.

Tea Boutique Designer Series Paper

I love the patterns in this paper so much, that I only have a few sheets left. This paper contains all the 2022-2024 In Colors. So not only does it have fun images and patterns, but it also has the new colors. And who doesn’t love to play with the new colors?

Cup of Tea Bundle

I used this bundle on the teacup images that I put on the front of each box. Some images were stamped and then cut with the die, while others were cut from the Tea Boutique DSP.
