Today I have 3 projects using the Eden’s Garden suite to share with you! I just love this suite, especially the gorgeous designer series paper. The suite is only available until January 3, 2022. However, the stamp set and dies are a sneak peek into the January-July 2022 Mini Catalog.
Crafty Collaborations
Crafty Collaborations is composed of Stampin’ Up! demonstrators from around the world. Each month we participate in multiple collaborative projects including blog hops, like this one, tutorials, and swaps to inspire all of us in our passion for crafting. Our goal is to create, share, and inspire every crafter to keep our creative energy flowing.
Eden’s Garden Suite
The Eden’s Garden suite contains the Eden’s Garden stamp set, the Eden dies, the Ever Eden Designer Series Paper (DSP), Garden Gems, and some very yummy cotton paper. Here’s a closeup of the DSP.
I like that one side of the paper is very striking and the other more subdued. The patterns work so well together.
Today’s Color Palette
I think that one reason I like this DSP so much is that it’s monochromatic with shades of green and pops of gold!
Today’s Projects
Today’s projects include 2 gift card holders and two cards. Let’s start with the gift cardholders. My nail tech asked me to make 10 gift card holders for her. It’s hard to believe but I’ve never made a gift card holder in 20 years of stamping! So, Google to the rescue. I found https://stampinsavvy.com/pop-up-gift-card-holder-tutorial/ with great instructions and gave it a whirl. I used the gorgeous Ever Eden DSP, some gold foil, and a few dies to create these beauties.
For this holder, I used gold foil, the Encircled in Beauty dies, a sentiment from the Frosted Gingerbread stamp set, and the Layering Circles dies. It was really hard to capture how pretty this is because the gold foil and the DSP are so shiny.
This holder is similar to the previous one using gold foil die cuts and the same sentiment, but it uses the Seasonal Layers dies and Red Rhinestones for a more tailored look. I just love those Red Rhinestones! I hope they never retire. Again, this was so hard to photograph because of all the shine.
Card #1
This card showcases the DSP. It, too, uses Gold Foil, Encircled in Beauty dies, and a sentiment from the Eden’s Garden stamp set. I used my Stamparatus to stamp the sentiment multiple times using Evening Evergreen ink to get it dark enough to not get lost in the DSP and gold. Then, I stamped it with Versamark and embossed it using clear embossing powder.
Make the INside Pretty & Don’t forget the Envelope
I used my goto decorations for the envelope flap and the inside by echoing the DSP on the envelope flap and a strip along the bottom of the inside.
Card #2
I saw this fun fold on Patty Bennett’s blog https://pattystamps.com/2021/12/still-working-on-your-christmas-cards.html. It’s a really easy fun fold that makes quick & easy cards that showcase both sides of the DSP.
Make the Inside Pretty & Don’t Forget the Envelope
A gold foil die-cut using the Eden’s Garden dies decorates the inside of the card. And, again, used the DSP on the envelope flap. No naked envelopes allowed!
Now it’s time for some more collaborative fun. Grab a beverage, sit back and enjoy the hop! You should find some awesome ideas and inspiration as others share their projects made with the Waves of the Ocean suite.
If you’d like to try to recreate this card, you can find a list of the products I used at the end of this post. Need a demonstrator or a catalog? Drop me a line and I’ll put one in the mail.
