Two Tone Flora Hello

Today’s Crafty Collaborations Blog Hop is all about sharing whatever we’ve been working on. While I was working on this post using the Two Tone Flora dies, I had an extra piece of the delicate large die. So, I decided to make a card out of it and share it here.

Today’s Color Palette

I was in a blue-green sort of mood as I was making this card. Plus, this is a two step stamping set. So, I paired Lost Laggon with Pretty Peacock and Coastal Cabana with Shaded Spruce with a Pool Party base. I love how this color combo turned out.

Make the Cuts

• Card base (Pool Party) 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″ Score at 4 1/4″.
• Layer 1 (Basic White) 5 1/2″ x 4 1/4″
• Sentiment (Basic White) 2 1/2″ x 1″
• Flowers (Basic White) 5 1/4″ x 4″

Stamp & Die Cut

• Stamp the sentiment using Shaded Spruce ink.
• Stamp 3 leaves using Shaded Spruce ink. Die cut.
• Stamp two small flowers using Lost Lagoon ink for the base color and Pretty Peacock for the detail. Die cut.
• Stamp 3 large flowers using Coastal Cabana ink for the base color and Shaded Spruce for the detail. Die cut.
• Die cut the Basic White layer using the Two Tone Flora large floral die.

Assemble

• Attach the floral die cut to the card front using liquid glue.
• Attach 2 small and 1 large flower to the lower right of the card front using dimensionals.
• ttach 3 leaves beneath the flowers using liquid glue. Cut off a bit of the stem if they’re too long.
• ttach the sentiment to the card front using dimensionals.
• Embellish with Tinsel Gems.
• Attach a large flower to the Basic White liner using liquid glue. Attach to inside of card.
• Attach a large flower to the envelope using liquid glue.
