Cut Your LayersCut two pieces of Daffodil Delight cardstock at 5 1/4" X 4".Cut a piece of Daffodil Delight cardstock at 4 1/4" x 3".Cut a piece of Night of Navy cardstock at 4 3/8" X 3 1/8".
Emboss Your LayersEmboss one of the large and the small Daffodil Delight layer using the Subtle 3D Embossing Folder.
Assemble Your LayersAttach the unembossed Daffodil Delight layer to the inside of the card.Attach the embossed Daffodil Delight layer to the card front.Attach the small Daffodil Delight layer to the Night of Navy layer.Attach the Night of Navy layer to the card front.
Stamp and Color the FlowersStamp the cake with flowers image 3 times on a Whisper White scrap using Momento Tuxedo Black ink.Use a post-it note to cover up the parts of the flower image you don't want on the envelope. Stamp the front of the envelope with the cake with flowers using Momento Tuxedo Black ink.Color the flowers using the Daffodil Delight and Night of Navy Blends. I used a light touch to get a more watercolored look. TIP: Stick a piece of scrap cardstock into the envelope before coloring so that the colors don't bleed through to the other side.
Make Your Die CutsCut out the flowers using the Birthday Dies and your favorite die-cutting machine.Cut two sprigs from Daffodil Delight cardstock using the Birthday Dies and your favorite die-cutting machine.Cut four sprigs from Night of Navy cardstock using the Birthday Dies and your favorite die-cutting machine.
Stamp, Heat Emboss, and Cut Your SentimentRub your embossing buddy across a piece of Daffodil Delight cardstock.Stamp the sentiment on the Daffodil Delight cardstock by inking the stamp with Versamark and then Night of Navy ink.Sprinkle with Clear Embossing Powder.Use your heat tool to set the embossing powder. Cut the sentiment with the Stitched Rectangle dies.
Attach the ElementsCut the small flower off from the larger two flowers.Attach one of the larger two flowers to the inside of the card using Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue.Attach the rest of the flowers to the Daffodil Delight layer using Dimensionals. There will be a blank space between the upper and lower flowers.Tuck the sprigs behind the flowers and attach using Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue on the end of the stems, leaving the top of the sprig loose.Attach the sentiment to the middle of the card using Dimensionals. TIP: To make the sentiment even, use a double stack of Dimensionals on each end.
